What I do

Therapist

I provide compassionate, creative, and skill-based therapy for children, teens, and young adults. My approach is strengths-based, helping each individual build on what they already do well while developing practical tools to manage anxiety, navigate emotions, build resilience, and grow in confidence.

I believe therapy is most effective when it is tailored to the unique needs, strengths, developmental stage, and interests of each client. My approach is eclectic, drawing from evidence-based strategies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, psychoeducation, and supportive talk therapy, while also incorporating creative activities, books, and hands-on tools when helpful. Sessions are interactive and engaging, allowing clients to learn skills in ways that feel meaningful and accessible to them.

Whether meeting in person or via telehealth, I strive to create a supportive space where children and teens feel understood, empowered, and comfortable being themselves. I also value collaboration with parents and caregivers, working together to provide support, reinforce skills, and help children make progress both inside and outside of therapy.

I work with children, teens, and young adults facing a variety of emotional, social, and behavioral challenges, including anxiety, grief and loss, sadness, friendship and social difficulties, family and school concerns, and life transitions. I also have experience working with neurodivergent children and teens, including those with ADHD and autism. I am passionate about helping children and teens manage anxiety while building confidence, resilience, and emotional well-being. My goal is to help each client develop practical coping skills, discover their unique strengths, and gain the confidence to navigate life’s challenges with greater independence and self-belief.
